Ninja effects

Here's a site worth looking at. Markus Gustafsson is an motion Graphic artist who works mainly with After Effects, he explains that he creates all his imagery in Photoshop and Illustrator then animates in After Effects. These are things I like to do myself and feel I can create rather good imagery at the moment. Though maybe no animate it as good as I'd like to. From this screen shot below you can see the kind of thing I'm referring to. It seems that this artist is pretty successfulll in what he does, thats good to as this is the kind of imagery I'd like to make. So it shows that I'm on the right track.
He also posts tutorial on AETUS , it would be good to get to a level where I could do this, for you get $150 for every successful submission. Though I think that is a long way of.

I also posted a link to my blog in case people are interested to here my thoughts and views.

Interesting tutorial site

This site looks really interesting, it is devoted souly to helping students create motion graphics in After Effects. Espeecially as it shows you contemperory themes, such as the day After tomorrow effect and effects similar to adverts, like illustrations following people and such.

Click here to see a tutorial. :]

Heres a video about animating Bruce Lee's statments its simple but nice, I'l try it when I get some free time, but at least it's here for referencing.

Alan Shisko

I've been looking aaround at some motion graphic artists. Here's one that's pretty ace at what he does. His name is Alan Shisko. He does a lot of work in after effects, though one thing I've noticed is that he encorperates both Maya and After Effects when He works. This may be something that I should start to look into, as it seems that it would open up more avenues.

Holograms

Here's Star Wars then ,
Yep in the first Star Wars film Princess Laya appeared as a Hologram as a warning , now Kate Moss appears on one just to show off. It just shows again that things can seem unachievable at a time , bit then become reality (and in not such a short time)
I think holograms could become part of every day life instead of T.V's .I think itl would be pretty sweet.
Heres Kate Moss modeling on one and some guy talking about his knew toy!

Maybe someday I might be able to design animations for such things.
